 Raymond Ackerman z”l
Raymond was deeply committed to philanthropy and to championing social and
corporate responsibility. Together with his wife Wendy, he established the Ackerman
Family Center for Corporate Governance at Bar-Ilan in the Graduate School of Business
Administration. Raymond was a role model for communal commitment and supported
many philanthropic and social causes in his native South Africa and in Israel.
Bar-Ilan University is honored to have had Raymond as a friend and lay leader
for decades. May his name and memory be for a blessing.
